A big city, sprawling across the mountains and plains, Colorado Springs has a bit of something for everyone. From the conservative christians with Focus on the Family to the New Agers in Manitou Springs, there's a spot for everyone. Downtown has undergone a renaissance in the past 10 years or so, and is now the hip place to be at night, with bars, restaurants, performance venues, and coffee shops. In the summer, check out the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, a feeder team for the Colorado Rockies. You'll see some rising stars here. In the winter, don't miss Colorado College Hockey, at the World Arena- Go Tigers! The World Arena is also host to a myriad of events, from rock concerts to comedians. Don't miss an opportunity to get outside- climbing, biking and hiking are very popular in the Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Canyon.
