Just outside Colorado Springs, Manitou is made up of cliffside dwellings and one main street with touristy shops and an artsy flair. Manitou used to be famous for it's spring water. It has quite a few great restaurants, including the Briarhurst Manor. There's a salt water taffy store and a penny arcade. Old hotels in this area are being restored.
