For those thinking about a trip to beautiful British Columbia, be aware that a visit to Vancouver Island is quite different from visiting the mainland of BC. The island is approximately 6 hours from tip to top and three hours of beautiful driving wide, with so much to do, it's easy to spend a week or two and still have plenty to see.
