Tastefully decorated guest rooms exude comfort and nostalgia. The rooms feature accents from Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy and Finland; in addition, there are many items from China, Korea and Thailand and appointments from India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria.|In addition to the proximity to Saratoga and Lake George areas, there is considerable recreational opportunity available near the Inn. Both roads intersecting near the Inn are included in various tour guidebooks as providing some of the finest bicycle and hiking opportunities in the region. After a hike or ride you might wish to walk through the Inn?s orchard or visit the Inn?s donkey and horse, a retired thoroughbred. In the fall or spring you may visit the pond which is a stopping point for migrating Canadian geese and ducks or an occasional Blue Heron.

Madame Butterfly: A gracious room that invites the guest to enjoy treasures from the Orient and the Middle East, including Chinese chests and screens. Captain St. John, with its inviting reader's nook, casts a spell of inviting comfort and relaxation. Named after the first owner of the Inn, a Revolutionary War Army Officer from Connecticut. Overlooks the stream, humpback bridge and orchard. Original wide-planked floors and tiled bath, large tub/shower. Ceiling fan and air-conditioned, with in-room refrigerator, personal coffee service, cable TV and wireless Internet service. Queen size bed.|Papa Haydn: This Delightful corner room with windows on two sides opportunes the guest to enjoy the orchard and cascading stream or a farm vista and perchance a glimpse of a deer or flock of wild turkeys. Original wide plank floors, overlooks orchard, stream and large meadow across the front yard lined with sugar maple and willow trees. The private bath features a southwest US motif and offers the guest the enhanced relaxation of a multi-head shower-tub combination. All bookings are prepaid and are charged in full with the reservation. Cancellations must be made within three (3) weeks from the first day of the reservation. The cancellation must be transacted directly with the Inn and accepted in writing. During Saratoga Race season cancellations will be accepted only if the room(s) can be re-booked. No-shows will be charged for the entire reservation. Arrival after 8 pm must be arranged through phone contact with the innkeepers.
