Londonderry Inn is an 1803 thirteen room Maine farmhouse situated on six acres of fields and woodlands.Londonderry Inn is an 1803 thirteen room Maine farmhouse situated on six acres of fields and woodlands. The inn was actually the first "bed and breakfast" in Belfast. Back in the 1950's it was called "Sanker Farm Overnight Tourist House" and offered "heat and modern bath" as its amenities! It has operated as Londonderry Inn for over 20 years. Marsha and Fletcher Oakes purchased the inn in 1997 and lovingly restored the entire house and grounds, reopening in May 1998. Our five elegant, comfortable guest rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques, newer furnishings and interesting artwork, designed to sooth your spirit and rejuvinate your body! All bedrooms have a modern private bath, a sitting area or desk, exquisitely comfortable mattresses, plush pillows, terry bath robes, thick bath sheets, hair dryer, phone, cable TV/VCR, mini fridge and air conditioning in the summer.
