In 1997, an extensive but extremely careful remodeling project was begun. The original wooden floors walls and ceilings were refurbished in beautiful and serene colors. Central air conditioning, new plumbing, and a modern kitchen were installed with as much care taken to retain the homes unique flavor. The result is a charming Bed and Breakfast with six bedrooms, each with a private bath, a lovely living-dining room and a wonderful porch where you may enjoy breakfast.

For East bound or North bound travelers: For easy access, exit I-95 at J. Turner Butler Blvd (Exit 101), Eastbound to A1A. -FROM JACKSONVILLE BEACH (End of J.T.B.): Go North on A1A to 4th Avenue South. Turn East (Right Turn) one block. The Fig Tree Inn is on the corner of 2nd Street and 4th Avenue South right onto 3rd Street (A1A South) and follow 3rd St. four blocks. Take a left (east) onto 4th Avenue South one block.
