Fine Dining and Lodging in Woodbury Connecticut - The perfect place to flee the everyday hustle and bustleNestled in the village of Woodbury in the heart of Litchfield Hills and surrounded by miles of unspoiled rolling fields, Longwood Country Inn is less than two hours from New York City and New Jersey and one hour from Hartford. Settled in 1673, Woodbury is touted as the "Antiques Capital of Connecticut." This historic town is a destination for collectors and lovers of fine antiques and American history, as well as for those who desire a peaceful getaway surrounded by New England charm. Built in 1789, Longwood Country Inn features four tastefully appointed guest chambers. Creative flair is apparent in every element, from the classical room proportions to the elegant draperies and upholstery custom-designed by Innkeeper/owner Pat Ubaldi.
