Quiet Elegance and Gracious Charm. Victoria's Highest Rated B&B Inn. Award winning Gardens, Afternoon Teas, Fireplaces, Spa Tub, In-Room Massage, Ocean Views. 5 Star & 4 Diamond Awards.Recapture the graciousness and charm of the past in this historic 1912 manor home built as a private residence for the King's Representative in British Columbia. This grand Inn has all the amenities of the finest European Inns featuring rooms with fireplaces, marble whirlpool baths, ocean, mountain & garden views, lush comfortable robes, sumptuous breakfasts, afternoon tea, and beautiful estate gardens. The Prior House B&B Inn is the oldest European style Inn in Victoria built for Edward Gawler Prior the 14th Premier of the province and the 11th Lt. Governor of British Columbia appointed by King George V. We are a designated heritage estate with large surrounding gardens. We operate only six rooms in a 10,000 square foot heritage home. Therefore, the rooms are large and the grand rooms on the main floor are elegant in their spaciousness. Service is our specialty and we have an afternoon hostess at your disposal to assist in all your touring needs.
