Location!Location!Location! This Luxury Boutique Mountain Lodge is located just steps away from the Eagles Express at the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort at Golden B.C. Canada in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is just 45 minutes from Lake Louise and an hour and a half from Banff. Heated bathroom floors, feather rest beds, wood plank flooring, complimentary breakfast, overstuffed furniture, a huge split-log bar, and rock fireplace are just a few of the outstanding features of Vagabond Lodge. Bedrooms do not have TVs or phones but there is a media room on the main floor with Satelitte Television, free DVD movies, a variety of games and a pool table. A phone is available in the guest area with free local calls. Wireless internet and a computor is also available for guest use.|All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in earth tones, with armoirs and antique designed furniture. Some rooms have balconies as well as lofts.|On the lower level, a secure ski/snowboard room is available along with a boot dryer. Vagabond Lodge does not have a liquor license, so guests are able to bring their own and it in a cooler behind the bar. A liquor store is located across the road.

All rooms are tastefully decorated in earth tones and are carpeted. Instead of closets, all rooms have antique armoirs and the beds and end tables are rustically designed. The beds are queen-size with feather rest mattresses and duvets. All bathrooms have heated floors with antique designed sinks, with shower/soaker tub inclosures. All rooms have individual thermostates with hot-water heating. Large windows dominate all the bedrooms to take advantage of the great views of the Rocky Mountains. The extra spacious corner rooms have window boxes which can be made up, into single-size beds.|Four middle rooms have balconies with patio furniture. Great spots for sitting in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine to enjoy spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains.|Two rooms have lofts, with the queen size bed upstairs. Downstairs is a double size bed. These rooms also have spacious balconies with views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains.
