Lounge accomodation in the most beautiful and lively old part of the city center,The Red Star hostel is an ideal location for the traveller wanting clean and affordable room in the heart of central Sofia. We are located a minute from Sofia
City Garden,NationalTheater -Sofia's absolute center. From here you can explore fast and easy all city sights, cultural and historical objects. The Hostel is in the most beautiful architectural part of the city center,at the best bar and restaurant area. Hostel architecture include 2 dormitory rooms with 4 and 5 beds, 2 private rooms each furnished with 2+1 beds, as well as wardrobe, table and chairs, TV.,we also offer a small apartment for 2 or 3 persons. All beds are new wooden, supplied with comfortable spring mattresses, which garantee your rest. WE DON'T HAVE BUNK BEDS, so there's no debate over who gets a top bunk!
Unlike most of the hostels with 1 bathroom for15 persons
we have 3 bathrooms for 16 people and separate toilets.

The private rooms have one queen size bed +one singe bed,they are very spacious,with wooden floorings,balcony, can accomodate 2 or 3 people. They have wardrobe, chairs, TV inside, balcony. The Dorm has 5 beds, only one bunk,big balcony, chairs, Internet inside.|The lounge area has a dinning table with chairs , sofas ,TV with 70+ international channels|The kitchen is modern,with balcony, fully equipped,you can make your own tea or espresso coffee, cook,use the refridgerator, oven.

To reach us from the airport:
a. From the airport take bus No 84, get off on Vassil Levski blvd.(last stop, next to Pizza Hut). Walk down Gourko Str. to Garibaldi Square. The hostel is just 30 meters from the square.
b. From the airport take minibus taxi No 30 and get off at Sheraton hotel.
From the Central Train or Bus Station:
a. Take tram No14 in front of the Central train station and get off at Garibaldi square. Angel Kunchev street begins from Garibaldi sq. and the hostel is just 30 meters away.
b. Take tram No 1 or 7 from the Central train station and get off on the fifth stop (one stop after Sheraton Hotel). Then walk back to the right along Solunska str. and the second block to the left direction
