Black Sea Backpackers is a budget hostel with mixed accomodation for all ages. You will love this hostel and Odessa.Black Sea Backpackers is located at number 12 in the famous Deribasovskaya Street in Odessa the Pearl of the Black Sea. Odessa is beautiful, there are many restaurants and nite clubs only minutes out side your door, along with the beautiful summer beaches that are only 5km away. We are proud to say we are the first hostel in Odessa with real mixed accomodation with cheap beds, and we are priding ourselves on service and excellence. We promise you will never forget Black Sea Backpackers or Odessa... directions to property:
Black Sea Backpackers is located at number 12 Deribasovskaya Street in Odessa. At the bottom of building push door code number 29. We are the THIRD Level at door 11. We are city centre, and very close to all public transport, 20 minutes by taxi from airport. A going price for taxi from airport to centre is 50 Ukrainian Grivna, about $10 us. However we recommend taking a mini bus. Number is 117. It will take you from airport right to Deribasovskaya street. The fee for mini buses in Odessa is 1.25 Ukraine Grivna, About 25 us cents, you pay for the bus ride when you exit it. If arriving from train station we are only 20 minutes walk down Rishelevskaya street to Deribasovskaya. When there turn left and we are opposite the Irish bar Oneils. If you would like the mini bus option, take number 145 and it will cross Deribasovskaya via Yekaterininskaya street, when there get out and turn right, and we are about fifty metres walk. But please purchase a map if possible, anybody looking at a map can you help you. There is no English in Odessa and all the older population do not speak it. So asking for directions can be quiet hard. Also all the street signs are in Cyrillic.
