Ametzola is an old farm house. It was built in the XVI century and was rebuilt recently. It is inZeberio valley very near to Bilbo (Bilbao).The Zeberio valley is a green area with a lot of water, a big forest, with a small population near to Bilbo (Bilbao). Ametzola is located in the Ametzola quarter of Zeberio valley, on the border of Gorbea´s natural park and it is close to the Bilbao´s Guggenheim museum (25 km). It is in a hillside in front of the Gorbea (the biggest mountain in Bizkaia more than 1.500 meters) and there are splendid views across the mountains Ametzola is an old farm house. It was built in the XVI century and it was rebuilt at least twice, first in the XVIII century because of a fire, and the second time recently. It has been rebuilt whit modern materials, but respecting the old wooden structure, the kind of walls (stone and wood)?, so when you will be there you will feel as in a past century.|Although, when you arrive there you will feel yourself a hundred years ago, the house has all the modern commodities, facilities as central heating, private bathrooms with hot water and hydro massage shower into all the rooms. All the beds have orthopedic mattresses and northerly down; the bed robes are made whit cotton. All mattresses and eiderdowns are against mite handled.|As a lot of people in the Bask country, we cook very well and you can taste the good traditional and modern meals in our house or in a lot of restaurants and bars (the typical ?pintxos?, small cooking) that we have around the country. The Bask country is not a big country and there are not very big distances between the different places. So you can visit al the Bask Country from Ametzola. From Ametzola to Bilbao 25 km, to Donosti (San Sebastian) 110 km, to Gazteiz (Vitoria) 70 km. Also you have other foreign places of the Bask country as Santander, Burgos or Rioja not more than 140 km away. All of them by motorway.
