Q:Why sleep in a dorm with 20 snoring strangers when you can have your own room in the Welcome Inn for the same price!!??The Welcome Inn offers backpackers, lovers, friends and groups the opportunity to chill out and relax in a large, typical retro-style Spanish apartment right in the centre of Barcelona.
Proving especially popular with backpackers, students & couples, the Welcome Inn is a spacious and cosy retro-style apartment (reminiscent of the apt in the movie L'Alberge Espanyol) which has 6 private rooms (4 doubles and 2 triple/quad rooms) which comfortably accommodate all visitors to Barcelona in a friendly open environment. The pleasant living room area and fully-equipped kitchen make a great place to eat breakfast in the morning or start a night out in the evening with a few drinks and a bite to eat. There is an internet cafe below the hostel-apt.
Trendy bars, cafes, the popular MACBA museum and international skateboarding hang-out, internet/telephone services, supermarkets, bars, and clubs, the Metro and the infamous Ramblas are all within easy walking distance.
The large kitchen caters for all tastes, from coffee and toast to the visitor that likes to cook their favourite food even when away from home. There are 2 clean bathrooms to ensure there are no queues in the morning. A cleaning lady visits daily to ensure the place is in tip-top condition for all guests.|WHEN BOOKING, please state your ARRIVAL TIME as the time you expect to arrive in Barcelona city centre. From El Prat, Barcelona Airport, take the airport bus or train to Plaza Catalunya, then take the Green Metro (L3) to LICEU.
Take the Liceu exit and you come out on the Ramblas. Looking downhill, Calle Hospital is on the right-hand side. Walk down the Calle Hospital street for about 3 minutes and hey presto: no. 93 is on the left. But please call us when you arrive in Barcelona to arrange a check-in time and if necessary a meeting point: we offer to meet guests free of charge at Plaza Catalunya if necessary and with prior notice.

>From Estacion del Norte Bus terminal (Ryanair flights to Girona Airport), take the red metro (L1) from ARC DE TRIOMF 2 stops to PLACA CATALUNYA, from there, change onto the green line (L3) and go one stop to LICEU.
