Walkerbouts Inn - Rhodes offers comfortable accommodation, a fine table and hosptality in the best traditions of country liviingWalkerbouts Inn is located in the the historic village of Rhodes in the southernmost tip of the Drakensberg Mountains in the Eastern Cape. Its is 16km due south of Lesotho in the Barkly East district. It is on the R396 from Barkly East to Maclear, a 60km narrow and winding gravel road that must be driven with care. Walkerbouts has six en-suite bedrooms, a dining room adjacent to the lounge that is equipped with DSTV. The cosy pub next to the lounge boasts a wood-fired pizza oven where guests can enjoy their pizza fresh out of the oven with a pint of draught beer that is brewed on the premises. The Highland Brewery was established in 2003 nad has been producing fine beer ever since!|Fine Country Cuisine and great hospitality make Walkerbouts a home-from-home that attracts regular patrons to return year after year.|Our annual Christmas Dinner on Christmas eve is an event of note with traditional served with a typical South African flavour.
