POLICIES
Cancellations and changes without any charge or penalty must be made at least
72 hours before your scheduled arrival in a written communication, quoting the booking reference number, either by Fax or e-mail. Please note that your cancellation has been acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a
cancellation confirmation. Not applicable for Carnival and New Year, see below.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours in advance or no-shows (failure to check in without prior message or cancellation sent to us) will be charged with 2 (two) nights. [Minimum stay].
The balance due must be paid on arrival, at the check-in.
No post arrival changes are allowed.
RULES for CARNIVAL and NEW YEAR BOOKINGS
MANDATORY: Five (5) Nights for Carnival and five (5) Nights for New Years.
If you are booking a package, the hostel requests FULL payment after making
the online booking to secure your bed / beds; room / rooms. After making the
booking for New Years or Carnival get in touch with the hostel via e-mail to
get instructions on how to proceed.
There is no reimbursement in case of cancellation.

By Car:
Two hours and a half from Rio de Janeiro (GIG). Take the ?Linha Vermelha? to Niteroi, then cross the Rio-Niteroi Bridge (BR 101), and at the end take the road to the ?Região dos Lagos?. In Rio Bonito, take the ?Via Lagos? way (PAY) until the ?Atlantic? gas station at the ?São Pedro d?Aldeia? entrance. Then follow the ?Macaé? city signs (RJ 106) and at 14km take the first right turn, marked by the ?Búzios? sign. Carry on until the Tourist Information Portico and then turn left. Follow the principal avenue and, arriving to the centre, the Pousada Kybalion Hotel is located at your left. Then ask in the Pousada Kybalion reception desk for the accommodation in the Buzios Adventure Hostel. (Tartaruga Beach entrance).
By Inter Urban Bus:
At the Rio de Janeiro Bus Station, take the ?Viação 1001? (every two hours from 6.30 to 19.30). After a journey of approx. two and a half hours, ask for the driver to stop at the ?Tartaruga Beach? stop, in front of the Pousada Kybalion Hotel. Then ask in the Pousada Kybalion reception desk for the accommodation in the Buzios Adventure Hostel.
