We have agreed with the local tribes to set aside a huge natural preserve. Because we have vowed to not develop it, we are ensuring that the surrounding rainforest will remain pristine and intact. Also, the Amazon Yarapa River Lodge uses earth-friendly resources, including full solar powering, composting, and flush toilets with a waste management system. Our lodge has been built with local materials and local design ideas, for a perfect balance of rustic adventure yet comfortable quarters. Roofs and walkways are thatch covered, providing a natural cooling system from the tropical heat.|Guests can choose from a wide range of activities. Embark unforgettable adventures, including guided hikes, wildlife viewing boat rides, piranha fishing, and paddles in a genuine Amazon canoe. cancellation policy:
Full payment or a deposit of US $200 per person is required 30 days prior to arrival date via money transfer. Any remaining balance may be paid in person either with credit card (additional 5% surcharge) or cash upon arrival in Iquitos.
Cancellations received in writing (email) 30 days or more before arrival will not be charged and the deposit will be refunded fully. Cancellations less than 29 days will result in no refund given.
