The old farmers house dated back to the late 1800's is still to this day a working farm. Runned by the owners, their main activity consists in the coltivation of vineyards, for the production of excellent chianti wine, and of course, olive trees to produce a superb olive oil.|Because of the plenty of room wasted, Mariella a delightful young lady decided to share the beauty of this area in the chianti countryside by putting up a b&b..from this the name "Podere le Cave" all renewed according to the exquisit florentine country stile taste indoor and outdoor where you can enjoy an in the pool surrounded by the natural landscaping offered by the green hills.|Podere le Cave is 9 km/5.5 drive from the centre city of florence and 15 km/9 miles from the Florence Airport. Situated just outside the town of Impruneta, it's a breath of fresh air compared to the often hectic pace of Florence.

Bus company CAP for IMPRUNETA- POZZOLATICO) and you have to stop in MONTEORIOLO then 700 meters away there is VIA RIBOIA 6 PODERE LE CAVE Otherwise you can take a taxi from the train station for a cost of 25 euro approx.

FROM FLORENCE CITY :
Follow the signs for Siena. At Porta Romana follow the signs for Poggio Imperiale, S. Felicità a Ema, Impruneta. After passing Pozzolatico and Mezzomonte and Monteoriolo take right at Via Riboia, after 500 metres, passing a narrow, at number 6-8 (third gate on the right) you find the entrance to Podere le Cave
FROM FREEWAY:
Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit Firenze-Certosa.
Main road Superstrada Siena-Firenze exit Firenze.
Follow the signs for Greve in Chianti. At the village Tavarnuzze take left for Impruneta. Take left at the beginning of the village for Pozzolatico. After 2.7 km, before the village of Monteoriolo, take left at Via Riboia. after 500 metres, passing a narrow, at number 6-8 (third gate on the right) you find the entrance to Podere le Cave.
