Villa "L'Ultimo Eremo" is located 25 Km. far from the centre of Siena, 3 Km. from Gaiole in Chianti and 180 meters far from the medieval hamlet Borgo Casa al Vento. It takes just an hour to get here by car from Florence and half an hour from Siena.
by car:
from Florence or Rome: Take A1 Highway (Milano-Napoli), exit at Valdarno and follow directions to Montevarchi and then take the road s.s.408 to Siena or Gaiole in Chianti. From the village of Gaiole in Chianti follow the directions for "Borgo Casa al Vento" and Barbischio. Before entering the hamlet of Barbischio, turn right and then follow the road for 1.5 km
