Borgo casa al Vento is located in the heart of Tuscany, on the rolling hills of the Chianti region. It takes just an hour to get here by car or bus from Firenze and half hour from Siena.
by car
from Florence or Rome: Take A1 Highway (Milano-Napoli), exit at Valdarno and follow directions to Montevarchi and then take the road s.s.408 to Siena or Gaiole in Chianti. From the village of Gaiole in Chianti follow the directions for "Borgo Casa al Vento" and Barbischio. Before entering the hamlet of Barbischio, turn right and then follow the road for 1.5 km.
