Cozy B&B right next to the historical center, very quiet and homely for individual travellers and groups, who want to feel like at home.Just 10 minutes walking distance from the historical centre in a very quiet private townhouse in one of the best neighbourhoods of Florence (Piazza delle Cure) and on the way to Fiesole (you can take wonderful walks from here to Fiesole!) is located cozy B&B Florentia, one of the few real Bed & Breakfasts in Florence with family flair, where we'll take care of you to make you feel just like home. Part of that is for example our home-baked fresh bread for breakfast... Our three rooms are on the first floor of our house toghether with the bathroom (in common), are facing the garden and can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, starting at 20 ? per person and night.
Rooms with 1 - 4 beds available, so you may decide to come with your whole family or all your friends and take the whole upper part of the house (3 rooms with max. 9 beds)... or you rather decide for a romantic getaway for the weekend... Whatever you decide, one night or a whole month, you will certainly feel very confortable with us.|You'll have a hairdryer at your disposal and (for a small fee) also a refrigerator, an iron and ironing board and a washing machine.
On request we serve special dishes of tipical tuscan cooking to groups (minimum 4 people).
And if you would like to visit museums or concerts or need assistance with your travelling schedule or train/airline tickets, we will be glad to take care of that for you. Just let us know when you make the reservation of the room, because once you get here it might be too late to make reservations for the museums.|You will get a confirming email directly from us within 48 hrs after your reservation made on this site. If you don't, please get in touch with us after your reservation to make sure your reservation has reached us. If your reservation is last minute, please call us to confirm your arrival, because sometimes emails have arrived after the client got here.
WE DON'T HAVE A RECEPTION AND NOBODY WILL BE HERE TO CHECK YOU IN, IF WE DON'T KNOW THE HOUR OF YOUR ARRIVAL, SO PLEASE CONFIRM THE HOUR OF YOUR ARRIVAL!

We have one double room with a double bed, one triple room with a single and a bunk bed and a quadruple room with a queen size and a bunk bed.
The three rooms share one bathroom, all have fans and are overlooking the gardens (very quiet!). All rooms are non-smoking rooms, we are a non smoking house. Of course our clients can smoke in the open air area in the yard in front of the house, where we also serve breakfast in the summer. Normal Prices (per room/nt): Double room single use: 35 Euro/Overnight stay, 40 Euro/Bed & Breakfast -
Double room: 52 Euro/Overnight stay, 62 Euro/Bed & Breakfast - Triple room: 69 Euro/Overnight stay, 84 Euro/Bed & Breakfast - Quadruple room: 80 Euro/Overnight stay,100 Euro/Bed & Breakfast - Extra bed for children 0-3 is 10 Euro/nt, children over 3 years will have their own bed (15 Euro/nt).
Children have to be indicated as an adult, even if you intend to let them sleep in your bed. On request we will put at your disposal baby beds, from 4 years on they shall have their own bed.

Payment has to be made at arrival (in cash). We don't accept, cheques, traveller cheques or credit/debt cards.
For cancellations 7 or less days from the date of arrival and in case of no-show 50% of the total amount of the stay is due (minimum 2 nights). After arrival at the B&B the total amount of the stay is due, changes are not accepted (prolongation of the stay are possible only if there is vacancy).

transportation:
At the central train station Santa Maria Novella (SMN) you can take bus No. 1 A or B (in direction towards Piazza della Libertà), the bus station is at the rear exit (towards the big square): when you get off the train you have to go straight. Make sure you buy the bus tickets at a newspaper stand or a tabacchi store before you get on the bus, because most busses don't sell the tickets in the bus. And once you got on the bus, don't forget to stamp the ticket in the little machine on the bus, otherwise you might get a fine.
All busses have a display with the bus stops, if it doesn't or it doesn't work, ask the driver of Bus No. 1 A or B to get off in Via Madonna della Querce (2nd stop after crossing Piazza delle Cure, i.e. after the only bridge he passes over). Once you get off the bus, go back to the street where the bus came from (he has just turned left before the bus stop), this is Via Passavanti. At the corner is a Café. Turn left into Via Passavanti and follow the (blue) numbers until 49 (after the hairdresser - in front of a big oak).
If you prefer to take a taxi (approx. 10-12 ? depending on traffic), make sure the driver turns the taxometer on.

How to get here:
* From the airport Amerigo Vespucci: Shuttle until the train station S.M.N.
* From the central train station S.M.N. Firenze: Bus Nr. 1 - get off in Via Madonna della Querce, at the 2nd bus stop after the railway bridge and Piazza delle Cure - it takes about 15 min.
* From the train station Campo di Marte (Florence): Bus Nr. 12 (about 10 min.) or 34 (on the other side of the pedestrian bridge - get off in Via Dogali).
By car:
If you arrive from north of Florence: Exit "Firenze Nord", after leaving the Highway keep left (but don't turn left!) and follow the signs to "Viali circonvallazione-centro". Then always straight in "Viale Guidoni" until the last traffic light, turn right into "Via Forlanini" and straight until the end of this street. At the roundabout take the street on your left (i.e. you'll drive onto a bridge) and follow this street ("Viale Redi"). Drive through until the end of this street until it leads into "Viale Belfiore", here you turn immediately left into "Via Guido Monaco" and at the traffic light left again into "Viale Fratelli Rosselli". Now always straight (through an underpass) into "Viale Strozzi" and after the traffic light (keep on the right) into "Viale Lavagnini" up to "Piazza della Libertà", here you turn left towards "Fiesole/Stadio)", drive through "Viale Don Minzoni" and over the bridge, after which you'll have to turn right into "Viale dei Mille". Turn left at the very first traffic light into "Via Montanara" and cross the traffic light (straight) into "Via Passavanti", follow the (blue) numbers up to Number 49. If you come from south of Florence: Exit the highway at "Firenze Sud", at the exit of the highway keep left and turn left into the "Lungarno" in direction towards "Centro". Go until the end of this street (when it turns right into "Viale Amendola". Go straight passing "Piazza Beccaria" and "Piazza Donatello" until "Piazza della Libertà", here turn right into "Viale Don Minzoni" in direction to "Fiesole/Stadio", go over the bridge, after which you'll have to turn right into "Viale dei Mille". Turn left at the very first traffic light into "Via Montanara" and cross the traffic light (straight) into "Via Passavanti", follow the (blue) numbers up to Number 49.
