Castelfiorentino is perfectly placed in relation to the other famous Tuscan cities, therefore it's possible to reach Florence, Siena and Pisa within an hour.The Hostel is situated in the Valle dell'Elsa on Via Francigena, a place of transit for pilgrims and travellers on their way to Rome from Northern Europe during Medieval Times. From the XIIth Century onwards it had great political, econimic and artistic importance, due to its location on the borders of Florence, Pisa and Siena: cities that have dominated art in all its expressive forms.
