Bed and Breakfast Cascina Caldera Asti, a beautiful farmhouse in the Asti vineyardsOur B&B consists of three double rooms at the first floor of an early twentieth-century Piedmontese farmhouse nicely restored, dipped in the green of its 20000 mq surrounding meadow. The B&B rooms have common entrance with the family house, two bathrooms, a wide terrace and a breakfast -living room available.
The B&B is no smoking.

You can also easily reach us by train. The railway station VILLAFRANCA-CANTARANA is about 4 kms far from our B&B and upon agreement we will be pleased to pick you up there.

From Torino:
Take the southern by-pass road , direction Piacenza, and at the entrance gate of the Torino-Piacenza motorway, keep the right and exit at Villanova d'Asti, continue on the main road called SS.10 towards Asti for approx. 10 kms, at Villafranca d'Asti follow direction "Ferrere" turning right, go on for 1 km then turn left to Cantarana. Right after the Pizzeria, turn right following direction "Acquedotto della Bonoma/Torrazzo" (approx 2 kms) .
At the junction for Torrazzo continue until the second house on the left (B&B signs will help you). Welcome to our home!

description of surrounding area:
Cantarana bounds three of the most famous for their wines zones of Piedmont: Monferrato, Astigiano and Langhe and therefore it appears to be the ideal starting point to discover all of them.
The village festivals, in the period from September to November, allow to get in touch with old peasant culture and to taste wines like Barolo and Barbaresco in the Langhe, Arneis, Roero and Bonarda in Roero region, and Moscato and Dolcetto in Astigiano.
