SheenView a Premier B&B on Ring of Kerry / Ring of BearaSheenView is a recently opened B&B located on the outskirts of town on the Castletownbere road just over 1.5 miles (a 5 min drive or a pleasant walk down an avenue of broad leaf trees on the banks of Kenmare Bay) to the centre of Kenmare renowned the south west's Gourmet town. Kenmare boasts 2 Michelin rated restaurants in our beautiful little town namely the Park Hotel and the Lime tree, there is also the Sheen Falls Lodge one of Ireland's most celebrated 5 star hotels with its spectacular Sun Lounge & Oscar's restaurant, all in all Kenmare is a diner's gastronomic delight. We offer high standard accommodation with most rooms being ensuite, complete with power showers, WHB, WC, Shaving light and point etc. There are Double, Twin & Family rooms to cater for all needs and preference.
Bedrooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee facilities, hairdryers, Colour TV, Clothes Storage & usual power outlets etc. Ironing facilities are available upon request.|On arrival you will receive a warm welcome from your hosts Peter & Amanda along with refreshments to relieve those travelling blues. These may be taken in our comfortable 1st floor guest lounge which has a panoramic view out over the Kenmare Bay and Macgillicuddy Reeks inc Carrauntuohill Irelands highest mountain at 3314 ft, colour TV, DVD Player complete with a large selection of viewing & a wide variety of reading material.|We try to cater for the all family therefore board games & toys can be found in the lounge & a variety of children & family viewing films are also available for those who wish to relax in the comfort of the lounge (it has been known to rain over here !)
You may also relax in our Garden and have the opportunity to eat at 'home' by using the BBQ should you so wish, crockery & cutlery provided (nominal charge applies), and your children (if they are with you) will be safe and sound probably playing football with our dogs ! Breakfast is served between 08-00 and 09-30 Mon to Fri and 08.30 ? 10.00 Sat & Sun (these times are flexible by prior arrangement) and will be served in the dining room. It may be possible to exchange breakfast for a packed lunch if you have an early start or are going off walking or cycling along one of the many beautiful trails for the day.

From Kenmare town follow the sign posts for Glengarriff and leave Kenmare over the bridge crossing the Kenmare Bay / River. Just over the bridge turn right signposted Castletownbere, follow this road for approx 1.5 miles passing the Kenmare Nursing home on your left then the riding stables on the left and we are approx 50 yds past these again on the left.
