A relaxing bed and breakfast guesthouse in the heart of the Limousin countryside of mid-west France.We offer spacious fully-equipped, en-suite rooms; tastefully and simply designed to create a relaxed atmosphere. Each retaining their rustic charm, together with a modern clean-cut design within the bathrooms. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room and continental breakfast included in all the prices. Our Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse, is a traditionally restored 18th century farmhouse situated in the beautiful Haute-Vienne department in the Limousin region of mid west France. Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Lascoux, close to the historic town of Châteauponsac and the pretty village of Bessines-sur-Gartempe, La Maison Rose Bed and Breakfast has been designed especially for those who wish to ?get away from it all? and relax in a tranquil environment.|We are within easy reach of the main European motorways (A20/E09) 350 kms South of Paris and just 35 km North West of the regional capital of Limoges making it easily accessible for all transport links and the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, stopover point when touring Europe or house hunting.|We delight in our fine cuisine and use only fresh local ingredients and our own home grown organic vegetables and herbs. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are available from a varied menu, prepared by Helen who trained as a chef. Vegetarian options are always available and happily provided.

Situated on the first floor this room has 2 windows overlooking the front and back courtyards and the surrounding woodlands. A large comfortable room with traditional walnut wardrobe, double bed and double sofa bed. Tastefully and simply designed to create a relaxed atmosphere, it has a rustic charm, together with a modern clean-cut design within the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with thermostatically controlled shower, heated towel rail/radiator, WC and hand basin. Twin/Double bedroom with en-suite.
Situated on the first floor this room overlooks the front courtyard and views of the woodlands, which lead down the valley to the River Gartempe. We have retained the original oak floors, softened with wool rugs. A comfortable room with an oak wardrobe and large double bed, which may be converted to two large singles. Tastefully and simply designed to create a relaxed atmosphere, together with a modern clean-cut design within the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with thermostatically controlled shower, heated towel rail/radiator, WC and hand basin.
