The Chateau de la Foltiere is located in the heart of romantic landscapes, in the middle of the great Parc Floral de Haute Bretagne. Offering sixteen botanical gardens for your enjoyment, this 50-acre park invites you to take peaceful strolls lulled by the sound of running water and floral fragances while discovering a vast collection of rare trees and plants. The Parc Floral de Haute Bretagne arouses the imagination by the succession of colourful gardens embedded deep within the landscape, by the thoughtful association of delicate, unusual and varied plants, and by the light perfumes that each garden embalmsguests, also allying the pleasure of the extraordinary.|The 19th century Chateau de la Foltiere has its origins in the 15th century and was under siege by the Royalist army after the French Revolution.|Lovingly restored and cared for, today five comfortable and spacious guest rooms with en suite baths await visitors. An elevator as well as a monumental staircase is at the service of all the rooms on the first floor. These rooms are very individualized. They have preserved the charm of the prestigious allure of centuries past. They each have a view of the gardens. A breakfast buffet will be served in the tea room and M. Jouno will be pleased to cater to your every desire, so that your stay promises to be the most agreeable possible. There is no restaurant but 10 minutes from the hotel, in the magnificent city of Fougères, you will find happiness, and the owner will enthusiastically point out the best adresses.
