Cheriton Lodge built in around 1893 is full of the charm & character of the past, but with all the modern conveniences of today. The house was used by Carlton TV for the making of a screen two film featuring Anita Dobson and other famous names & is filled with antiquities. Situated only 75 yards from the 7 miles of sandy beach & within easy walking distance of a swimming pool & the Victorian seaside town of Burnham on Sea, with its many pubs and Restaurants. You can either take the leisurely scenic beach walk, (the beach is accessed 2 mins walk from the front door at the bottom of this quiet cul de sac) or walk/drive by road. We are also Close to two excellent Golf courses, one at Berrow (a championship course) and one at Brean. .|Cheriton Lodge is a family house situated in Burnham on Sea which is a central and convenient location for touring & exploring the interesting and historical attractions of the West Country, including The Quantocks,Cheddar Gorge caves, mendips,the cathedral city of Wells, Bath, Bristol & Taunton. We are situated only a 25 minutes drive from Bristol airport (a taxi can be arranged at reasonable prices by a reliable local company with prior notice & deposit) we are 3 hours from London and only a five minute drive from Junction 22 of the M5 motorway, which heads on toward Devon & Cornwall|We are registered with the tourist board. and have an English Tourism Council Rating of 4 diamonds in recognition of the warm welcome & attention to detail we offer our guests. This is a non smoking establishment. Sorry We do not accept credit cards or pets.

We require a 10% deposit on booking. Deposits are non refundable, All accounts are payable in advance on arrival/check in. For any cancellation within 48 hours of arrival there is a cancellation penalty of one night's charge.
