ADjacent to the bike trail along the scenic Lamoille River which doubles in winter as part of the VAST trail system, it's an easy stop while biking or by snowmobile.|Built by the governor in 1893 as a copy of the famous Longfellow House, it also had the latest gas lighting fixtures, a Vermont marble foyer, and made-to-order mirrored mantlepieces.
