One of the most famous houses in Valparaíso (so beautiful you´ll even find it on post cards), recently converted in a high quality youth hostel. Situated in the residential area perched among one of Valparaiso´s well reknowned hills just walking distance from historical downtown. Our hostel is the largest in Valparaíso with a capacity of 42 guests. With 6 rooms of varying sizes we can easily accomodate groups as well as individual travelers. HI Valparaiso is also the only hostel in the city with it´s own bar and back yard which makes for great parties and asados! All our rooms are shared/dormitory style with shared bathrooms. We have 6 rooms of varying sizes (4person, 6person, 8person, 10person). Rates are charged individually per person per night, not by room. We also have a maximum capacity of 42guests with special discounts for large groups of +20persons (please ask).|Rooms have lighting, electrical outlets (2 rounded pin), individual bed lighting for reading, clean linens, and security boxes.

directions to property:
From directly in front of the bus terminal (or the corner of Pedro Montt and Ave. Argentina), you can take brown bus #142 (300pesos). Get off on Ecuador at the corner of San Juan de Dios (to the left) as the bus is heading up the hill. Follow San Juan de Dios and take the first left on Bernardo Vera. Our hostel is the 3rd on the right, a large pink villa (look up) with a blue metal door. Hit the buzzer and you´re in!
