Nevada's Historic Inn, Bliss Mansion, is at the heart of Carson City's historical district and was built in 1879 by Duane L. Bliss, Tahoe lumber tycoon. The Mansion, surrounded by mature trees and sprawling lawns, stands directly across from the Governor's Mansion. Travelers looking to revisit the past and gain insight into the elegant life of early Carson City are invited to settle into one of the large, tastefully appointed suites at Bliss Mansion.
