General Information
|
| |
Using the sand from the dune upon which it sits as a raw material, the Inn, with its distinctive verandah, has been a Pentwater landmark since Mr. Charles Nickerson started laying the first hand-made block in 1913. In those days, Pentwater sat at the end of the railroad line from Chicago. Stagecoaches picked up passengers at the Depot and delivered them, via the ferry across the channel, to the Inn. Since 1914, the Inn has been known for its charm, gracious hospitality and casual fine dining. Extensively renovated from 1990 to the present, the Inn has maintained a traditional sense of grace, elegance, beauty and casual charm. The Inn has 10 theme rooms and 3 Jacuzzi suites with gas log fireplaces and balconies overlooking Lake Michigan. All rooms have private baths, individual A/C, and include a full breakfast. We are a smoke-free establishment. A guest phone can be found in the lobby, however there are no telephones or televisions in the rooms. Check-in is generally between 2-4pm. Please let us know if you can not arrive during this time in order to make other arrangements.
