This Bed & Breakfast is a Gracious Victorian home by lake in Boiling Springs, PA. The Village is laced with history dating back to the mid 1700's. The Iron Industry was the main reason for its growth. Remains of the Carlisle Iron Works still stands at the edge of the village. The Village has many handsome homes and in 1984, Boiling Springs was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The area is alive with many activities. The lake and crystal clear Yellow Breeches creek are well stocked and considered one of the best trout fishing areas in the country. The nearby Yellow Breeches Outfitters handles the best in all kinds of fishing gear, locally tied flys, clothing and gifts as well as offering experienced tips and guided fishing. Across from the lake is the Historic Boiling Springs Tavern serving excellent food and beverages. The famous Allenberry Resort Inn and Playhouse 'on the Yellow Breeches' is just a minute away. There are several artist studios in the village and many antique shops minutes away. Gettysburg battle field and Hershey, PA are a short ride away. Truly a delightful place for a get-away weekend, something for everyone!
