When this Victorian Mansion was constructed, Cheyenne was the richest town of it's size in the world. The home's brilliant architecture serves as a reminder of this grand time in the city's history. The home boasts meticulously restored wood work, including a grand staircase adorned with an ornate gas lamp. The cast bronze fireplaces are topped with mirrors that reach the ceiling. Bronze Medalians are set in the front doors, and guests find stained glass through out the home. The parlour still includes 2 paintings commissioned by the homes first owner, Erasmus Nagle. Nagle made his fortune in both the grocery and the cattle business. From 1910 until 1933 the home was owned by Senator FE Warren and his wife. The mansion is on the National Historic Register and is listed in Smithsonian Guide to Historic America. The service and the food are excellent. Restoration includes all of today's comforts.
